ALIGN Athletes · For high school & college teams

Strong bodies.
Steadier minds.

A two-hour program · $35 per participant

ALIGN Athletes brings mat Pilates and the neuroscience of habit building to your team. Athletes leave moving better, recovering smarter, and knowing exactly how to show up consistently — in training and in everything else.

The program

Two hours that change a season.

We come to your gym or host you at Butterfly Mill in Lincoln, RI. Every session is built around your sport, your season, and your athletes.

Move — mat Pilates

A full mat Pilates class led by Amie Cunha, scaled to your athletes. No equipment, no experience needed — just floor space and a willingness to work.

Learn — the science of feeling good

A session with Dr. Amy Cameron on how the brain builds habits — and how steady routines for sleep, stress, and confidence help athletes feel as good as they perform.

Apply — your team's anchor

Each athlete leaves with one small wellness habit of their own — a wind-down for better sleep, a breath cue before competition, a reset after a hard practice.

Recover — together

Breathwork and a shared language for showing up for each other. Teams that practice together off the field play more connected on it.

Why Pilates

What Pilates gives an athlete.

  • Core power that transfers

Speed, stability, and force start at the center. A stronger trunk means more of your training shows up on the field, court, or track.

  • Mobility and injury prevention

Pilates lengthens what training tightens and strengthens the small stabilizers that protect joints — knees, hips, shoulders, and ankles.

  • Breath control under pressure

Learning to breathe well steadies the nervous system — calmer pre-game nerves, faster recovery between efforts, better focus in the final minutes.

  • Balance and body control

Precision in every cut, landing, and change of direction. Athletes learn where their body is in space and how to control it.

  • Recovery that actually recovers

Low-impact, restorative movement keeps athletes loose between hard sessions, so the body comes back stronger instead of worn down.

Why neuroscience

A steadier mind. A body that bounces back.

  • Calmer under pressure

Breath and focus tools train the nervous system the way lifts train muscle. Pre-game nerves turn into fuel instead of anxiety — and athletes settle in faster.

  • Confidence that's built, not hoped for

Self-belief comes from kept promises. When athletes follow through on small routines, the brain logs the evidence — and that confidence holds up when the game is on the line.

  • Recovery the brain can use

Sleep, hydration, and real downtime are where the body repairs and the mind resets. We make those routines automatic, so athletes arrive fresh instead of running on empty.

  • Resilience after setbacks

A missed shot, a tough loss, an injury. Athletes learn how to reset after a mistake instead of spiraling — a skill that serves them long after the season ends.

  • Guarding against burnout

Sport should add to a life, not drain it. Sustainable routines and a healthier relationship with rest keep athletes loving the game — and playing it — for years.
